I can highly recommend staying at the Maruti Guest House in Varanasi. I have spent the nicest few days here with an amazing, warm and welcoming family. Mama cooks delicious, fresh, tasty food. The best i have tried in the whole of the city. I almost don't want to leave. It really is an oasis of calm. The family can help you with everything you will need for your stay. I highly recommend the boat trip (it's worth getting up in the early hours and being the first boat on the Ganges). I honestly cannot recommend it enough. I would like to thank the Family for making me feel so welcome and give my love and respect to them all.

I have just visited Maruti Guest House for the second time and have had another wondeful stay. The family are lovely, so kind and helpful, and you really have the feeling of being one of the family during your time here. An oasis of calm in the chaos of the city. Highly Recommended.

Hallo! I would like to recommend this wonderful hostel in Varanasi from all my heart. Not only because it is cheap and comfortable, but also because of its really warm and nice atmosphere. This atmosphere create amazing family, who own Maruti. They will help you, give very important advises, cook brilliantly and make your heart warm with their smile. Greatest hotel in Varanasi.

Ahoj cestovatele, tenhle hostel je opravdu skvely a vsem ho doporucujeme. Rodinny podnik s dobrou kuchyni a milymi lidickami. Hostel je cisty, utulny, tepla voda a pohodlno. Hostitel velmi sypmaticky, poradi se vsim, co je potreba. Velmi blizko do centra, k prvnimu ghatu.

I have stayed at the Maruti Guest House for five days. It has been such a great place to stay. When you stay at the Maruti Gust house you are part of a family. The home cooking is some of the best food that I have had in India. To have a hot shower is very nice as well. If you are into Yoga Dr. V.N.Tripathi is one of the best people you can find. I hope that you are as lucky as me and stay at the guest house. Thank you Danny.

I got to stay here for two week and had a very warm stay, getting to know the family and becoming a part of them. Papu is very helpful with any information you need about India or even just funny guest house stories. Tripti and Mama make excellent home style food fresh from the market as soon as you order it. Sruti, the daughter, provides all the entertainment you can get. And of course Dr. Tripathi the honorable owner will treat you, as it says on the main page, like a god. I made this web site for them practically for free, I only did this as they are great people running one of the warmest guest houses in India.
