The staff is super helpful with location advice, food, daily supplies, and internet. It is located next to the Assi Ghat and the area is really friendly. Enjoy!

The best place I have stayed in thus far in India!! You are part the family and as such take care of any need that you have from the smallest detail, like drawing a personalised map of varanssi for you. I would highly recommend it to anyone coming to stay in Varansasi.

The guest house was very nice. The owner treats you like family. We also had a wonderful stay in Varanasi. Thank you so much.

Varanasi is amazing. Many people told us that the city was not worth going to, that it was dirty and polluted. It has however, proven to be much different. The people and the places are memorable. Everyone at the guest house was kind and generous. Our stay would not have been the same without this amazing family. The food was also so incredible. The kashmiri potatoes are out of the world. This has been an amazing experience, the accommodations, the people, the river, all amazing, I will never forget this time.

Although the rooms in this guest house are just your average room, the family who runs the guest house is definitely something special. Don't get me wrong; the rooms are fine - they are basic but clean. However, the real reason to stay here is because of Pappu and Tripti, the lovely husband and wife who run the hotel (which is owned by Tripti's father, also a very kind man). They are SO kind and helpful and wonderful. They will take time to help you with whatever you need - Pappu drew us a map by hand and gave us so much advice. We spoke to Tripti and Pappu at length about various aspects of Indian culture, including arranged marriages, the caste system, and many other things. They are very intelligent and well-educated people and it was fascinating to talk to them and hear their views on things. They are just such warm and friendly people. There are other perks that come with staying here as well. First, the home cooked meals that Tripti and her mom make are delicious - try the Kashmiri stuffed potatoes!! The masala chai is also fantastic! Second, they give great ayurvedic massages (Tripti massages women and Pappu massages men) for a reasonable price. Third, you can take yoga lessons from Tripti's father, Dr. Tripathi (owner of the guest house). We did this and it was very interesting and rewarding - we didn't learn about yoga poses, but more about the significance of yog in the Hindu religion. Fascinating! For a small fee, they will do various things like book train tickets for you. You can also use their internet for no extra cost. We highly recommend this place. We visited India for a month and stayed in many guest houses and hotels, and we didn't find a nicer family than this one. You won't either!

I am from Japan and know bad English, give please true I wrote the following sentence: "Since the smokey eye is very dark, you want to be certain you have good coverage here." Best regards :-), Winter.
